Beauty Shop: The Original Stage Play
2003
Comedy
No secret is safe from salon owner Big Mama Lucille and her outlandish hairstylists in this production of Shelley Garrett's rollicking comedy. Big Mama may be pint-sized, but she's got a firecracker attitude and sexy smarts, and she runs her salon like the gossip central it is, where every speck of scandal rinses out in the shampoo sink. The surprises keep coming at Big Mama's Beauty Shop in this sidesplitting production.
Cast: Shelley Garrett's recorded stage comedy, led by Big Mama Lucille and a predominantly Black salon cast.
